Questions about Velri

Short answers about what Velri reads, what it will not claim, and who can use it.

What is Velri, and how does it relate to Encevra?

Encevra is the company and the analysis engine. Velri is the conversational product you use directly. Noetis is the same engine offered to businesses through an API and licence.

Is Velri only for document analysis?

No. Velri is for complex tasks and consequential decisions: clarifying a problem, comparing options, planning work, testing assumptions and identifying next actions. Documents add a checkable evidence layer when the task depends on source material.

What files can I attach?

PDF, Word, plain text, Markdown, CSV, JSON and log files, up to 15 MB each. Velri shows the extraction status for each file and reports clearly when one cannot be read.

How do citations work?

A case-specific claim carries a reference you can click. It opens the passage as it appears in your document, with the document name and version. Separate quotations keep separate source spans, and Velri will not fabricate a page number.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Cases, documents and briefs are saved to your account and are not visible to anyone else. Ordinary conversation is available once you sign in; deep analysis requires an approved account.

Does Velri browse the internet?

No. It reads only the documents and text you provide, and it will say so rather than imply it checked something it did not.

What happens when I add a new document to an existing case?

Nothing earlier is overwritten. Previous answers and sources are preserved, affected conclusions are marked as needing review, and a new analysis explains what changed.

How long does a deep analysis take?

Typically a minute or two, depending on how much material is attached. Progress is shown as real states: queued, reading documents, analysing, checking evidence. You can leave the page and come back.
