Work Memory

An assistant that remembers how you work.

Sidekick keeps a private memory of your preferences and context: your role, your company, how you like answers written. It uses that to give you better answers, and you stay in control of every single memory.

What is Sidekick?

What memory does

Personal context. Nothing more, nothing less.

It remembers how you work

Your role, your company, the vendors you deal with, how you like answers phrased, and what you're focused on right now. Sidekick uses this to skip the preamble and answer in your terms.

It learns from you, not from your files

Memory is only extracted from what you type to Sidekick, never from your documents, emails or Noetis analyses. Anything that looks sensitive, like account numbers or credentials, is skipped automatically.

It is never evidence

Memories personalise Sidekick's answers. They are never cited, never verified, and never fed into a Noetis analysis or Decision Brief. Every analysis is still grounded only in your documents.

Your control

You own every memory.

Sidekick doesn't keep secrets from you. Everything it has learned is listed on your Memory page, in plain language, where you can change or remove it at any time.

Private by default

Each memory belongs to you. Nothing is shared with your workspace unless you choose to share that one memory.

Ranked by relevance

Only the few memories relevant to your current question are used, so answers stay on topic. Pinned memories are always included.

Pin what matters

Pin the preferences you always want respected: how you like emails drafted, which vendors matter most, your reporting style.

Edit or forget, any time

Open your memory page to review every memory, edit the wording, or delete it permanently. Tell Sidekick to forget something and it will.

The hard rule

Memory is never evidence.

Encevra's analyses are grounded in your documents and only your documents. Noetis verifies findings against sources, and a Decision Brief is only as strong as its citations. Memory sits outside all of that: it shapes how Sidekick talks to you, never what is true.

If Sidekick relies on a memory, it says so. If a claim matters, it goes through Noetis, where every line is quoted from a source you can open.

What it stores

Small facts, in plain language.

  • Preferences

Prefers concise summaries with the risk stated first

  • Company

Works for a 40-person logistics firm in Leeds

  • Vendors

Renewals usually handled with two main SaaS vendors

  • Decisions

Currently deciding whether to renew the CRM contract

Getting started

A short welcome, then it just works.

The first time you visit Memory, Sidekick asks five quick questions: what you do, where you work, what you'll bring to it, how you like answers, and what matters most right now. Skip any you like. From then on it learns as you chat: just say "remember that…" and it will.
